Bonded NdFeB magnets are mainly used in information technology industries, such as computer hard disk and optical disk drive spindle motors, printer/copier motors and magnetic rollers, as well as drive and control components of variable frequency energy-saving household appliances and consumer electronics. Their application in micro and special motors and sensors of new energy vehicles is gradually becoming an emerging mainstream market. It has a high magnetic powder filling rate, so its magnetic properties are relatively higher, and it can replace sintered ferrite and sintered NdFeB magnets in some applications. Compressed NdFeB magnets have good performance consistency, ideal dimensional accuracy and high material utilization rate, and can be integrated with plastic and other parts through injection molding process. Unlike injection-molded Nd-Fe-B magnets, compressed Nd-Fe-B magnets are more suitable for applications with lower mechanical strength requirements and less complex shapes. As isotropic magnets, compressed NdFeB magnets can freely choose the direction of magnetization. The most representative application of compressed NdFeB magnets is thin-walled magnetic rings, which can be widely used in various micro and special motors after multipole magnetization.

Injection NdFeB magnets have high dimensional accuracy, are suitable for complex shapes, do not need subsequent processing procedures, and are easy to achieve mass production. They can be directly injected with other materials to form components. In addition, injection-molded magnets have good toughness and are not easy to crack under the impact of external forces. Injection NdFeB magnets have been widely used in household appliances, office equipment, consumer electronics and automotive industry.

Sintered NdFeB magnets are mainly used in automobiles (electric drive, electric power steering, sensors, etc.), wind power generation, information industry (hard disk drives, optical disk drives), consumer electronics (mobile phones, digital cameras), household appliances (variable frequency air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines), elevator linear motors, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging machines, etc.
